Email is faster. Please write in whichever language you are most comfortable in. English, Hindi or Kannada reach us directly, and we will arrange translation for the other languages we support.
What you can raise here
- A request to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you.
- Withdrawing consent you gave us earlier.
- A complaint that we used your data for something you did not agree to.
- A concern about a certificate, a course, or something a Hotelwaley representative told you.
- Anything you reported to us already that was not resolved.
What to include
We are not asking for a formal letter. Just enough for us to find your records and act:
- Your name, and the email or phone number you used with us.
- What happened, in your own words.
- What you would like us to do about it.
- Any screenshot or earlier email that helps, if you have one.
Please do not send us your Aadhaar number, PAN, bank details or a photograph of any government ID. We do not need them, and we will not ask for them.
If your employer enrolled you
If you are on Hotelwaley through your hotel, employer or a Government programme, some of your records belong to that organisation and we hold them on its behalf. We will still take your complaint, acknowledge it and help. For the parts that are your employer's record, we may have to route the request to them, and if we do, we will tell you who it went to rather than leaving you to guess. Our Privacy Policy explains this split.
What happens next
- Within 2 working days we acknowledge your message and tell you who is handling it.
- Within 30 days we resolve it and write back explaining what we did. If it is genuinely complex, we will tell you before that deadline why we need longer and when to expect an answer.
Raising a grievance costs nothing, and it will never affect your access to Hotelwaley courses or your certificates.
If we do not resolve it
You have the right to escalate a personal data complaint to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We would rather fix it ourselves first, but that route is yours regardless, and you do not need our permission to use it.
